The medical marijuana community rallying for politicians support of LD1242 at the Maine State House in Augusta. LD 1242 is a bill that would change rule making from minor technical to major substantive, bringing proposed changes to a legislative process instead of the unaccountable department’s unelected officials creating rules without taking any consideration from industry members and patients. This bill would also bring the community to the table and put the current harmful proposed rules on hold.

Harmful proposed rules with unnecessary over regulations, written by out of state corporations are threatening to close down thousands of small business and displacing thousands of medical marijuana patients. These corporations depend on laws that shut down open markets, making a funnel of business and profit directly to them.
Knowing the illusion of some politicians, the community needs to let them know we are watching and we want actions. We want a moratorium on the proposed rules and a seat at the table!
